The movie was released on Chhota Bheems birthday and was received well but though backed with a powerful script and everevolving plots, it failed to match the runaway success of the first Chhota Bheem movie Chhota Bheem Aur Krishna. Some of the reasons attributed were absence of good title song, shoddy and hasty animation and the failed hype associated with the past four movies.The movie was written by Raj Viswanadha and directed by Rajiv Chilaka.
